The case changes the fit.
Measure the phone with the case you plan to keep on. Check the camera bump and any raised edges, as well as the dimensions listed by the controller maker.

Your case, connection and games matter as much as the controller. Make four checks before you choose one.

THE DETAILS THAT MATTER
Three places to look beyond the product photo.
Measure the phone with the case you plan to keep on. Check the camera bump and any raised edges, as well as the dimensions listed by the controller maker.
Read the case checklist ↗A Bluetooth model and a similarly named USB-C model can have different requirements. Match the full product name before comparing instructions.
Read the connection guide ↗Check the developer's controller support for the version and platform you use. If it is unclear, ask before buying hardware for that game.
Read the game checklist ↗A MODEL TO INVESTIGATE
This is one candidate for your shortlist. Use the manufacturer's current specifications and support to check your own setup.
We have not tested this model. We do not quote a price, stock level or guaranteed fit. Confirm the exact product variant before ordering.

G8 Plus Bluetooth ≠ every controller with “G8” in its name.
Ask GameSir about your setup ↗SAVE THESE FOR LATER
Start with the exact phone and case combination you will use. Find the maker's current size limits and check how the controller holds the phone. A camera bump, thick edge or covered port may affect the fit even when one measurement seems right.
For a USB-C model, look at connector reach and alignment. For a Bluetooth model, check how the phone sits in the grip. Neither connection type guarantees that your case fits.
If the instructions leave a gap, send the manufacturer the phone model, case model and measurements. Keep the reply and review the seller's return terms before ordering.
Compare the exact controller models. Bluetooth requires a supported pairing setup and may have its own charging requirements. A direct USB-C model needs the right port, physical alignment and platform support.
Think about where you play: holding the screen in the controller, using a stand, or packing everything away after a short session. Check each model's instructions for that arrangement.
We do not claim one connection is always faster or more reliable. Those comparisons need measurements for a defined device, game and setup.
Make a short list of the games you actually want to play. For each one, check the developer's support page or in-game settings for controller support on Android. Support on another platform does not settle the Android question.
Check whether the developer identifies supported controllers, connection requirements or limitations. If a third-party mapping tool is suggested, review the game's rules and the tool's permissions before deciding to use it.
A hardware specification can tell you about the controller. It cannot promise support in every game.
A FEW STRAIGHT ANSWERS
No. This is a research-based buying guide with an interactive checklist. We will identify the device, case, game versions and date if we publish a hands-on test.
